Somehow at Christmas the most amazing addition to all the sparkle and glow around the house, is a nice warm inviting view of candles burning. The other part is the nice scents that are added by the burning of these candles.
You know the saying that nothing smells better than fresh baking or cookies just coming out of the oven, well, if you don’t have the time or energy left to do those things, it’s alright.
You just add the scent of those fresh- baked cookies by burning a candle scented with the spices of sugar cookies, or gingerbread or apple pie! Your friends and family will be so amazed at what a nice touch this is.
Christmas is the one time of year, when we like to invite our friends and family over for some Quality Time. Those times when we get together and catch up with all the happenings in our own families and find out all those great things that have been happening with them over the year.
It’s a time of renewed friendships, renewed family, and just a whole time of renewal all together. It’s a time to remember, those who are no longer with us as well as what they meant to us, and a time to make new memories.
I love to put candles on my piano, that smell like apple pie and cinnamon buns. They remind me of the many good times we shared as a family, before everyone moved away to start families of their own.
But I also like safety and you will notice that all the candles I have chosen for you come in a container that is non flammable and most have lids. When the evening is coming to a close, you just put the lid on the jar and the candle will burn itself out! If you forget, it will still remain contained, but I urge you not to forget. It is all too often we hear of tragedies at the holidays, and most of the time it is carelessness that is a the root. So above all BE CAREFUL!
The Beauty of Candlelight will make you and your family remember the sights, the sounds, and the scents of Christmas at your home and hopefully there will be many, many more Christmases to enjoy with your loved ones.

I love scented candles too! I usually prefer the milder scent of the candles that I get by just removing their lids and not lighting them, but of course, the scent doesn’t carry throughout the house that way either. It really is nice to have a few candles around. I normally stick with the Yankee Candles with a vanilla scent, you you have quite tempted me with the sugar cookie candle.

Thank you Sylvestermouse, I agree, year round I have the vanilla scented candles, but at the holidays, I find the apple pie and sugar cookies are just so much fun. Happy Holidays to you and yours…..
