Just as sure as Valentine’s Day is coming, so are the delights that happen in the spring for every gardener I know. If you want to make your favorite gardener smile this Valentine’s Day, I have some suggestions just for you! Your Gardener friend will swoon when they see what you have come up with especially for them this Valentine’s Day.
By the middle of February, every gardener has been pouring through their favorite catalogues for that special addition to their outside space. Not a day goes by, that they aren’t dreaming of seeing the ground all soft and ready for their careful ministrations. To help your loved gardener until they can actually get outside, here are some ideas.
The most inexpensive gift is seeds, and pots and some good ground to get things started. The choices are abundant but I particularly like Edible Flowers, Coleus for their Heart Shaped Leaves, Pansy’s, and Green Beans. Why these four? Well they are easy to start and they are almost care free so that even the most “newbie” gardener will have success.
More experienced gardeners will not turn their noses up at any other seeds you may choose. If they are more difficult, it will make your gardener try harder to make them sprout.
Growing vegetable seeds works too and then all summer long you will be able to enjoy the “fruits of your labor!”
Seed sprouters is another great gift for a gardener. It will be something new to try and add a healthy bunch of greens into those favorite meals. So there will be loving from the sprouting just for your family. These are so much fun to do with your kids too! Teach them young and you will have helpers in the garden in no time at all!
Gardeners Love Valentine’s Day and You will be a hit with these choices!
