In a world where things are moving so quickly, it’s nice to be able to put on a CD and just let the music wash over you like a nice warm bath.
For many years now, researchers have been probing the use of music for everything from relaxation, to mind regeneration and almost everything in between.
Older people are the subject of many studies in the musical field, and the outcome of those studies is truly impressive.
Music does in fact Move Us. Our best memories can be tied to music that we heard years and years ago. I know I will always remember some of the concerts that I went to in my younger years and just hearing the music of that time, brings back feelings of being there all over again.
Music and memories go hand in hand, making me smile, shed a tear or two, laugh, and sing. Some of the music makes me remember my friends and family that is no longer with me physically, yet it can connect me with them on a whole different level.
