This Children’s Book is lovely to look at, the pictures are so well done. Written by a real life Mermaid, Mermaid Jacy and Illustrated by Annelisa Fischer, you will enjoy the pictures as much as you will love the story.
There is no doubt that having a mermaid in your bathtub might be fun for a while, but it just can’t be a “forever” living arrangement.
Mermaids need room to swim and float and glide in the water. There just isn’t a bathtub big enough!
Our little friend in the story has to make some really hard decisions. They won’t be easy to live with either. She cannot keep her new friend at home in the bathtub forever. What will she do?
Might I suggest that this would be a great book to add to your Granddaughter’s Christmas Gifts? The story is one that she will enjoy and the illustrations are just so well done. I’m sure it’s a book that will be read many times. It would even be great to encourage reading on their own.
