Decorating for Christmas is something that almost everyone can embrace, after all it is that magical season where the impossible seems to become possible.
Adding lights and fancy bulbs to your natural landscape is very pretty, but my heart has been taken with the many different inflatables that I see on my daily walks. Evenings in my neighborhood have become a daily affair. After all every day it seems that there is a new inflatable that is so cute, I just need to see it with my grown up (but still young) eyes.
Taking their lead from the Macy’s parade inflatables, Christmas themed inflatables just seem to make everyone young in mind and heart again.
Whether you plan on staying with the traditional Christmas decoration ideas like snowmen and Santa’s, or if you happen to like the more modern decorations like the Minions or Olaf from Disney’s Frozen, inflatables will have the children in your neighborhood stopping in front of your home to gaze in awe! It’s one of those perfectly wonderful parts of the whole Season of Christmas.
I like to catch the little ones in my neighborhood admiring my decorations and when I spy them stopping to admire, I go out and give them Candy Canes! It’s like a mini-Halloween all over again. What I really like about it, is that I get to meet all my neighbors. Some of them are very new to the neighborhood and others like my husband and myself have been here for almost forever.
One thing is certain, I will be putting out my Christmas Decorations year after year, because they are so much fun and they are part of my celebrations. Why not make them a part of yours too!
I must admit that I am torn between the Classical Christmas themes and the Newer Ones. I just know that if I have an inflated Olaf on my front lawn, my grandson is going to blow a gasket. He just loves Olaf. Truth be known, I do too!
