When the seasons begin to change, then our habits also begin to change too!
Summertime is a great time to be outdoors and enjoying the warm weather and sunshine, but once fall comes, we look for other ways to keep ourselves occupied. READING is one way that makes me happy to be indoors when the cooler temperatures arrive.
Give me a good spot on the couch, a light throw over my legs and a good book in my hands and I have reach my “Nirvana”.
So what’s on the Reading List you might ask! Well, I personally have a few different genres that I seem to reach for when I’m pondering what to read next and I am trying very hard to expand my likes!
So here’s what’s been on Most Recently Read List:
Sourdough by Robin Sloan
Did you ever think a loaf of bread could change your life? This is a really good read and one that made me laugh, thoroughly enjoyed this book!
At The Edge of the Orchard by Tracy Chevalier
Historical novel, that paints a “not so nice” side of homesteading and all the trials and tribulations involved with breaking new ground away from your family’s roots. Chilling sometimes, but eye opening at the same time too. It’s not a romance taken easily.
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
A good read, one that you can pick up and put down. I was tempted to give up on this one, but prevailed to the end and I’m glad I did.
Dark Sacred Night by Michael Connelly
I always enjoy a good mystery novel and Michael Connelly is one of my favorites! So this one gets a big thumbs up from me.
